OUR COMMUNITY: The Trails at Hiwan is a neighborhood located 30 minutes west of Denver in Evergreen, Colorado, nestled in the foothills at an elevation of around 7,800’. Situated among three lakes and over 47 acres of Open Space, the neighborhood enjoys the convenience of the Bergen Meadow Elementary School, the Evergreen Middle School, and close proximity to shopping and world class golf.
Elk meander through the area and common residents are deer, rabbits, foxes and squirrels, as well as an occasional bobcat.
Nearby is the new Evergreen Art Center as well as the Buchanan Recreation Center. Walking trails provide an outdoor experience for people and their pets. Lot sizes range from one-quarter or one-third of an acre or more. Homes built range from the early 1980’s to the late 1990’s. Amenities such as underground utilities, city water, city sewer and county maintained paved roads give residents the feeling of city life in a country setting…the best of both worlds.
